What is an enclosed straight truck?
An enclosed straight truck has its trailer attached as one piece. Similar to a dry van, but smaller and without a detachable trailer, straight trucks are mainly used for lighter deliveries with less freight, and are usually the more economical solution versus dry vans. Additionally, straight trucks are, as a result of their smaller size, more easily maneuverable in tighter spaces such as residential neighborhoods, congested downtown areas, and jobsites. Straight trucks also tend to feature special attachments such as tailgates to lower freight to ground level when off-loading.
